At Ysgol Tan y Gopa, we are proud of our school uniform and encourage all pupils to wear it every day. Our uniform promotes a sense of belonging, helps create a positive learning environment and reflects our shared pride in our school community.

Our branded navy jumpers and cardigans feature the Ysgol Tan y Gopa logo and can be purchased from our approved uniform supplier. To help keep costs to a minimum, all other uniform items are non-branded and are widely available from a range of retailers.

Our School Uniform

All Pupils

• White polo shirt
• Navy sweatshirt or navy cardigan with school logo
• Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress
• Black school shoes

Summer Uniform

• Blue gingham dress
• Grey shorts with a white polo shirt

PE Kit

Children should wear their PE kit on their allocated PE days.

• Plain white T-shirt
• Plain black shorts or black joggers
• Suitable trainers/black pumps

Jewellery

For health and safety reasons, jewellery should be kept to a minimum. Stud earrings may be worn but should be removed or covered for PE lessons. Smart watches and valuables should not be brought to school.

Labelling Clothing

Please ensure that all clothing, shoes and personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name to help us return lost property quickly.
